Views from the Frontline 2019

Looking for programme partners to act as National Coordinating Organisations in Malawi, Mauritius, Djibouti, Sudan, Fiji, Lao PDR, PNG, Soloman Islands, Colombia & Costa Rica

Views from the Frontline (VFL) is a flagship program of Global Network for Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) and is the largest independent global review of disaster risk reduction at the local level. Since its launch in 2009, VFL has mobilised over 500 organisations across 100 countries to lead participatory monitoring processes to collect local perspectives on risk and resilience. VFL provides an opportunity to identify the gaps between national policies and local practices, as well as build partnerships for successful local implementation of resilience building activities. It provides participants with a platform for engaging in policy level dialogues at the national, regional and global level. VFL 2019 will collect data on priority risks, resilience building actions, and inclusive risk governance. It will then support different actors to use the data for local action planning, advocacy, and policy design.

GNDR invites applications from organisations to join Views from the Frontline 2019 as National Coordinating Organisations across the following regions :
